Gold Shield Scholarship Winners

Scholarships are named for varying reasons, some of which are awarded annually and some only for one year. The annual awards are based on endowments that generate interest to fund all or some of each award. The one-year awards are named for Gold Shield members who were deceased during the academic year or tributes of $1000 or more. The individual awards range from $1000 to $10,000. The awards include Freshman scholarships, Community College scholarships, Renewals (a 4-year scholarship must be renewed each year through the performance of community service), Arts Scholars, Distinguished Bruin Awards, and Graduate Thesis awards, and various research grants. Awards not otherwise designated below are freshman or undergraduate continuing awards.
